Rachel was born and raised in Canyon Lake, TX. From a young age, she always knew that her purpose was to pour into people. At 18, in search of her true self, she moved to Austin. With a love for all things beauty, she started working at Sephora and going to cosmetology school. It was there when she realized her true passion was to do hair. She graduated from Paul Mitchell and began her apprenticeship at Golden Soul Salon in June 2022 and began taking clients soon after.

Whether it’s a balayage, vivid color, or a razor cut, Rachel loves the creative freedom that comes with being behind the chair. She wants her clients to leave with more than just a new hairstyle. She believes that anyone can be good at hair; what sets a stylist apart is the connection that they build with their clients. Her number one objective behind the chair is to make her clients feel safe and heard. 

As her career progresses, Rachel wants to make a difference in the hair industry by going into education and mentorship, and expanding her clientele to different parts of the United States.

Out of the salon, Rachel enjoys attending festivals and concerts, exploring what Austin has to offer, and shopping at local businesses. She specializes in content creation and makeup.
